Pumpkin soup

This delicious, cream-like soup is served at our family's Thanksgiving dinner every year. My whole family loves it!
Here is how I prepare it.

What you'll need:
Pumpkin.
Potatoes.
Onions
Carrots

Method
Fry onions in vegetable oil until golden brown. Add potatoes, pumpkin, carrots and mix well. Add fresh chopped ginger, curry powder, salt to taste, black pepper, cayenne pepper, turmeric, paprika powder. Stir then add water to cover everything. Let it cook for about 20 minutes or until everything is soft.

Stir in between again, then using a masher, mash up everything. Add the coconut milk to your already cooked and mashed food. Stir and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. In the meantime add Vienna sausages to hot water and let them stay for 2-3 minutes
Ready to serve

Presentation is very important so this is step 1 of how I present my pumpkin soup. I add whipping cream as seen in the picture. Then using a fork I combine the circles from center to the end (not sure if that makes sense)

Add sliced Vienna sausages, fried onion rings (that I fried in ghee), and sesame sticks, also sprinkle some black pepper. Serve this meal hot.
