Fry onion until clear, add chicken legs and brown skin. Add slices of Bell peppers and garlic (8 cloves chopped). Fry and then add spices. Paprika, consommé, black pepper and salt. Add water and simmer.
Cook on low heat, covered. Now you have a choice. You can make it with quartered potatoes, rice, or pasta. Rice and pasta need 20+ minutes. If making with potatoes, add them with the rest of the ingredients and cook until super soft. I prefer this with potatoes because then I mash them and pour the sauce on top.
