Most Dangerous Cake Recipe in the World: Chocolate mug cake
5 MINUTE MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE COFFEE MUG CAKE!!
I never thought making mug cake is this easy! And oh my god, it's really good!
This is my own version of the chocolate microwave mug cake. This chocolaty fudgy treat is truly decadent and great for nights when I need a yummy dessert that is ready in less than 10 minutes! Chocolate chips make this recipe even better.
So good, and so easy to make, if you're like me, you'll want to make it TWICE and eat both mugs one right after the other.
Chocolate mug cake recipe
Ingredients;
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
- A small splash of vanilla essence
- 1 large coffee mug
Method of preparation, Step by step...
Add dry ingredients to your largest mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using), vanilla essence , then mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
NOTE: For a healthier version, use 1 1/2 tablespoons of plain unsweetened applesauce and use 3 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon water instead of the milk.
