EASY SAUSAGE AND POTATO CASSEROLE
This cheap and easy sausage casserole is comforting food at its best. Not only is it filling, it's simple, and the kids will love it too! This is a great comfort food for that you can whip up in 25 minutes. This recipe is perfect if you're on a budget or feeding a lot of people in one go.
➔500 gm. potatoes halved.
➔500 gm. pack sausages.
➔1 onion, sliced.
➔1 green pepper, diced.
➔4 tbsp. tomato paste.
➔1 tsp. oregano.
➔1 ¹/₂ teaspoons dried minced garlic.
EASY SAUSAGE AND POTATO CASSEROLE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
➔1 Tbsp. oil.➔500 gm. potatoes halved.
➔500 gm. pack sausages.
➔1 onion, sliced.
➔1 green pepper, diced.
SAUCE
➔8 blended tomatoes or boiled and mashed.➔4 tbsp. tomato paste.
➔1 tsp. oregano.
➔1 ¹/₂ teaspoons dried minced garlic.
METHOD
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the potatoes and sausages for 5 minutes. Add the onion and pepper and cook for a further 5 minutes, turning the sausages occasionally until browned.
Add the sauce ingredients to a bowl and mix together. Pour this mixture to the pan with 1-2 tbsp. of water, then cover and cook for 5 minutes before serving.
