Kids will love this homemade version of fish fingers, and they can even help make them too.
Delicious! Surprisingly easy to make. I added some turmeric to the breadcrumbs to give a golden finish.

Season the tilapia fillets with salt and pepper, cut into strips and set aside while setting up the batter.
Add flour to a small bowl and set aside.
In a medium-size bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well.
In a third bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
Dip the fish strips into the flour, then the egg mixture and finally the breadcrumbs mixture. Repeat with the remaining fish.
Heat a large frying pan with cooking oil over medium heat. Once hot, fry the fish strips in batches for about 3 - 5 minutes. Repeat until done with the remaining batches.
Once done, set the fish on a bowl lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with lime wedges.
Tip: Place the fish on a sheet pan in the oven at 200 degrees to keep it hot while the remaining fish cooks.
