Spicy meat kebabs recipe
These kebabs have 6 different kinds of spices; the first time I smelled them I knew immediately that I had to find the recipe. The most affordable way to purchase the spices is in bulk at a health food store. They are very good! Serve with yogurt, flat bread, lettuce, tomato and cucumber.
Serves 4-6
Recipe Ingredients:
~900 gm. mutton, finely minced.
~2 onions, finely chopped.
~1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic.
~2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh ginger.
~½ teaspoon fenugreek seeds.
~2 teaspoons salt.
~1 teaspoon red chili powder or to taste.
~1 teaspoon garam masala.

Recipe Method:
One to two hours before the meal, mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Form into balls about 5 cm (2 in) in diameter. Push each ball onto a metal skewer, gently molding them like sausages. Let stand to allow flavor to blend. Barbecue over charcoal (or under a grill). Serve with chopped tomatoes, lettuce and chillies if desired.
