Waking up at 5 am to hit the gym may not be something that all you guys fancy. We live in a society where we are more exposed to seeing things on social media and having fantasies of ourselves being all those super-edited pictures of the so-called fitness models. You know what, just snap out of it, completely snap out of it. Have the picture in mind, for sure, with a strong will and desire to change yourself as the foundation.
The truth is having a body and fitness goals is great, it’s encouraged, however, not acting on it, and fantasizing about it and hoping for a shortcut won’t help you. Nothing in life will ever come that easy. It takes a strong will and desires to change, to take control of your life and be the best version of you. If you have the mindset that one day you will wake up and things will just be fine, then you should be prepared for a major disappointment. The small choices that we make in life are the ones that have the greatest impact on us. Having the mental stamina to get up in the morning to hit the gym rather than sleeping it off is one such step.
Life is what you what you make of it. My advice to you is to never settle for anything less than what you deserve. You have the ability to shape your body into a work of art. It’s your duty to ensure that when you look at yourself in the mirror you don’t dread or feel disappointed but rather you get this sense of pride because you know the work you have put in to look that way.
Your mindset will take you there. The mistake that most people make is that they think they have time. Time to drink beer today, eat ice-cream tomorrow go for pizza the next day and claim they are starting their serious workout routine the next week. Procrastination, in turn, becomes their greatest aid. Such a mindset will only lead to severe disappointment in the future. If you want to start working out start today and be resolute about it. The greatest gift you can ever give to yourself in this world is to work on you. Have the mindset of a winner. Sacrifice the simple pleasures that the moment offers and work for the greater good that the future holds for you. You can always make that change you want to see in your body, but always remember, it’s all in your mind.
